Fairway Community Center

The Fairway Community Center is located at 330 Fairway Drive overlooking the Tahoe City Golf Course and beautiful Lake Tahoe. The 2,900 square foot building, which accommodates up to 223 people, includes a large banquet/meeting room adjacent to a large kitchen, a cozy fireside room, and a large room with a hardwood dance floor. The pleasant "Lakeview Room" has a view of Tahoe City's natural surroundings and is an excellent spot for parties and receptions with a capacity up to 91 people. The more intimate "Fireside Room" has a large fireplace. This cozy room can comfortably accommodate up to 25 people. The downstairs "Tessie Room" has 1,500 square feet of hardwood floor, and is an excellent spot for dancing and movement classes.

Highlands Community Center

The Highlands Community Center is located on Country Club Drive in the Highlands subdivision of Tahoe City. The adjacent 45 acres of open space has trails for walking, mountain biking, and is the winter home of the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. The Highlands Community Center has a 1,500 square foot wing which features a beautiful wood stove and hearth. The building accommodates up to 85 people and is great for community functions, receptions and parties. There is an outdoor patio area with a picnic table and BBQ. Rideout Community Center

The Rideout Community Center is located at 740 Timberland Lane. The Center boasts an indoor gym, fitness room, 4 classrooms, playhouse cubby room, computer lab and free wireless. It is available for rent or just drop-in and play for $2. For more information contact the office at 583-3440, x10.

Tahoe Community Center

Located in downtown Tahoe City adjacent to Commons Beach, the Tahoe Community Center is the home of the North Tahoe Art Center. Many art related classes and seminars take place at this location, as well as other recreational activities. The upstairs room is available for rent and accommodates up to 30 people.

Pomin Parking Lot Closure

From Sept. 7 through Oct. 15 Placer County Erosion Control Project will be removing the road bridge to Pomin parking lot. The parking lot will not be available for use during this time. Parking will be available at the Lake Forest Campground located next to Pomin Park.

The bike trails are open. Please be aware of proper trail etiquette.
