- Sports Officials & Scorekeepers
The Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department is seeking
prospective umpires and referees for the upcoming sports
programs. If you are interested in being a leader on the
court or field, call 530-583-3796, ext 21. Training and
supervision provided.
- Coaches
Needed
Do you have a love for children and a strong desire
to be a positive role model?
Both men and women are encouraged to invest their time as
volunteer coaches for basketball, softball, volleyball,
or ski team. You provide the time and enthusiasm, we provide
the training(finger printing required)! To sign up or more
information, call the "sports department" at 530-583-3796,
ext 21.
- Be
A Team Sponsor
Promote your business name in the community and support
our local youth sports leagues by sponsoring a basketball,
softball, volleyball, or ski team. Your business name is
printed on the sportswear of a team and you'll receive a
plaque with your team's picture. For information on how
to sponsor a team call 530-583-3796, ext 21.
- Give
a Gift of Fun! Youth Scholarship
The
Parks & Recreation Department wants every child to have
the opportunity to participate regardless of ability to
pay. With this in mind, a scholarship program has been set
up through donations from various community groups and individuals.
If you would like to donate this program, or if you have
a child in need of assistance, please call the office and
inquire about this program.
