Interns
Come to the Lake Tahoe Basin to complete an exciting internship.
Any student affiliated with or interested in Parks and Recreation
is welcome to submit an application. We will work with each
student individually to develop a successful and rewarding

Parks Maintenance
Skilled, semi-skilled and rudimentary grounds, buildings,
parks and trails maintenance. A basic knowledge and experience
in landscaping, irrigation, construction and park operations
are desirable. Must have the ability to carry out work schedules,
work projects and record keeping. Excellent public relations
and communication skills are desired. Must have the equivalent
of a 12th grade education. Must posses a valid drivers license
and current CPR and First Aid certificate, or the ability
to obtain prior to employment.
Sports Officials & Score Keepers
The Tahoe City Parks & Recreation Department is seeking
umpires and referees for the upcoming adult sports programs.
Training and supervision is provided.
Summer Camp
Counselor
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative, individuals who
love to work with children. If you have what it takes to make
a difference in the lives of children and in the community,
we want you for the summer. The job runs June, July and August,
Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 6:00pm. Average pay is
$9 per hour. Come into the Recreation office to complete the
application process.
Volunteer Coaches
Do you have a love for children and a strong desire to be
a positive role model? Men and women are encouraged to invest
their time as volunteer coaches in volleyball, basketball,
and softball. You provide the time and enthusiasm, we provide
the training. Fingerprinting is required.
